D2-series electric hoist is designed based on the latest EU standard EN 14492-2, and its structure is different from that of D-series electric hoist. The standard requires that there shall leave two turns of wire rope on the drum when the load is at the lowest position, and D2-series meet such standard via its planetary reducer (2). In case of mass production or wire rope replacement, adjust the planetary reducer to make sure that the Lower limit lever(3) would be activate to stop the electric hoist when there are two turns of wire rope on the drum.
